Pro Comparison

Tyler Lockett, Seattle Seahawks

It is worth noting that Lockett has dealt with injuries since his emergence to the NFL. Still, when talking of a player who works with technical movement and punt return explosiveness, look no further than Tyler Lockett. Lockett shined greater statistically, but almost all of his separation came from beating cornerbacks off of the ball near the line of scrimmage.

The two will also be valued higher than some for their return game ability, and Lockett was actually even more impressive in the NFL when it comes to dynamic returns than he was in college. Is a step up in the books for Dante Pettis? Overall, a secondary threat with dynamic ability to help in multiple areas is what Pettis brings. It is not first round stuff, but the technical movements give him a high floor, and a reason to invest in the early to middle rounds.
