Deon Cain is a wide receiver product from Clemson. Should the Chicago Bears take a shot on the next in line from a wide receiver factory?

Clemson consistently pumps out NFL wide receivers. From DeAndre Hopkins, to Sammy Watkins, Martavis Bryant, Adam Humphries, Mike Williams, and Jaron Brown, this is a factory. Deon Cain will certainly get the chance to be the next one.

Deon Cain came into the ACC on fire, catching 34 passes for 512 yards and a five touchdowns as a true freshman. As a sophomore, he caught 38 passes for 724 yards and nine touchdowns. However, from DeShaun Watson to Kelly Bryant, his production slipped. On 58 receptions, he only had 734 yards and five touchdowns. Was he propped up by Watson, or is a legit prospect?

Measurables:

Age: 21

School: Clemson

Strengths

Deon Cain is a big play waiting to happen. He may not have 4.3 speed, but what he does have is sudden burst. He is able to ramp up his speed in quick doses to breakaway from defenders. He is able to get to a second gear down the field, and it is key to him finding separation.

Cain does a good job at ball tracking, and hauling in jump balls. He is also pretty strong agility wise with the ball in his hands.

Weaknesses

The issue with Cain is that he is still raw, and did not take that step forward this year. He still has a limited route tree. He still suffers from drops. Cain is the furthest thing from a willing blocker, and is not the fastest or strongest receiver. If that is the case, what exactly is he? He is a raw talent that can work out his can be harnessed, but is a risky bet.
