Veldheer is another massive person that is also a very good athlete for his size. Veldheer is consistently one of the better tackles in the NFL. He could put some more size on his frame, but it is not a complete necessity. Veldheer has held down a consistent starting role in the NFL for eight seasons.

What is also nice to mention about Veldheer that also comes with Mike McGlinchey is the versatility. Veldheer has taken snaps at every offensive line position, and last season he played at three different spots. This is something that McGlinchey can do as well. He is versatile in his position, and if he does end up at right tackle, it could be a good fit.

We could be looking back at McGlinchey and realizing that while he is not an All-Pro every season, he is a solid starter in the NFL. He came in immediately and started, and has held down a starter role in every season he has been in the NFL. Those are fair expectations for Mike McGlinchey coming into the NFL.
