. RB. PSU. Saquon Barkley. 7. player. 48

If you had asked Buccaneer fans who would be their top scenarios at pick seven, they likely would say Saquon Barkley or Minkah Fitzpatrick. Quenton Nelson and Bradley Chubb are dreams, but the debate of game-changing running back to complete the offense, or a do everything blitzing safety is a great one for Bucs fans.

Today, they go with the game-changing running back. After letting Doug Martin walk, the Buccaneers did not show any urgency to replace him via free agency. They are probably pretty confident that they can replace this spot via the draft. Some may have Barkley as the top player in the class, so a fall to seven could be looked at as value for the running back.

The Buccaneers are looking to throw the ball around on offense. Barkley is quite possibly the best receiving back to come out of college at his size in NFL history. It is a scheme fit, a need, and possibly the best player available. This is a great option for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
