Chicago Bears Draft Scout: Holton Hill
Pro Comparison
Browner played with extreme physicality, almost to a fault. Holton Hill also tends to dangle that line. This can typically lead to having a reputation for holding penalties down the field. There are some attitude questions that surround both and both have similar height and arm length.

Fit For Chicago Bears
The Chicago Bears tend to target long cornerbacks, and Ryan Pace tends to value players at a discount. The question will be whether or not the questions surrounding Hill are serious enough to pass on him overall. If not, to bring him in with a middle round pick and let him sit behind a player such as Prince Amukamara would be a great benefit to his career.
He would be in a room with veteran presences and a defensive coordinator in Vic Fangio who dealt with a Texas cornerback with off of the field questions when Tarell Brown played for the 49ers. If the Bears are comfortable with his attitude, Hill has long-term starter upside and could be worth a discounted price in the 2018 NFL draft.
