The tight end position has become one of greater importance. Offenses are not only using these players for blocking but also for catching passes. Guys like Rob Gronkowski and Travis Kelce have become a key part of their team’s offense and their respective team’s success. The Bears didn’t have this type of success at tight end last season but could get moving towards that with head coach Matt Nagy in charge.

Who does Fumagalli compare to? He seems to be a little like Brett Celek. They have a similar build and are both able to catch the ball well. They can both block and have similar size and speed. With some NFL experience, Fumagalli could turn into someone who is reliable like Celek.

It’s hard to pinpoint just what Fumagalli is going to be like in the NFL. He needs more experience, but if he can get into the right situation, he could end up being a star. Fumagalli certainly has the work ethic and the drive to succeed. He just needs the opportunity, and it’s going to have to be with the right team. If he gets into the right situation, he will excel.
