The Chicago Bears preseason schedule is out.
Everyone get ready to set your Google Calendar alerts. The first five football games of the year for your Chicago Bears have been set. Sure, these five games don’t count, but it’s still actual football being played by the Monsters of the Midway.

The Bears tweeted out their preseason schedule. The Bears, of course, have a fifth preseason game this year thanks to their participation in the Hall of Fame Game on August 2 against the Baltimore Ravens. The NFL will hope Bears and Ravens fans make a weekend out of it to see Brian Urlacher and Ray Lewis get inducted into the hall of fame in Canton and then see their teams play in the game.

When the ‘official’ preseason begins the following week, the Bears will go on the road and head to Paul Brown Stadium in week one to face the Cincinnati Bengals. In week two, the Bears stay on the road and play the Denver Broncos at Mile High. The Bears finish with two home games. Week three, which is always the team’s ‘dress rehearsal’ is interesting this year for Chicago as they welcome in Matt Nagy’s former team, the Kansas City Chiefs. In the final game of the preseason, the Bears will welcome in the Buffalo Bills.
In case you were wondering, something is different on this schedule (besides the fifth game). For the first time since 2003, the Bears will not finish their preseason schedule with a game against the Cleveland Browns. The Bears also did not announce official dates and times of their games, that will come later on.
This preseason will be a fun one to watch for Bears’ fans with a new coach and several new faces like Allen Robinson, Trey Burton and Taylor Gabriel. Plus, fans will want to see how Mitch Trubisky looks in the new offense.
