We look at the greatest first-round picks in the history of the Chicago Bears’ franchise.

The Chicago Bears recent drafts haven’t been stellar, especially of late. Over the last 30 years, the Bears have only had a handful of first-round picks that made significant impacts on the team.

But the Bears drafts from decades ago used to be quite stellar. Their first-round picks have landed them some of the greatest players in the history of the NFL.

There won’t be many recent names on this list thanks to the team’s recent struggles, but there are two from the last 20 years that make the list. But look no further, here are the 15 greatest first-round picks in the history of the Bears’ franchise.

One important note, the player’s impact has to be with the Bears’ franchise, not another team. So you won’t see the likes of Bobby Layne or Greg Olsen on this list. These are only Bears’ first-round picks that played great for the Bears.
