5. Lorenzo Carter, Edge, Georgia

Why not make it a Dawg party in Chicago? Leonard Floyd and Roquan Smith already bleed Georgia red, so perhaps another Bulldog, Lorenzo Carter, could be in the mix for the Bears. Carter was a solid edge performer on the Georgia defense that was overlooked at times because he didn’t live up to massive expectations that were put on him as a Freshman and the fact that guys like Smith were playing next to him stealing the headlines.

Carter is a lanky defender that needs to put on bulk but has long arms and knows how to use them. Carter also has a nose for turnovers, he has a solid strip tackle and also has a knack for falling on loose footballs. Carter definitely needs to bulk up and definitely will struggle against the run at times, but for a team that really needs a second pass rusher, Carter could be a fit.
