4. DJ Chark, WR, LSU

Chark is an interesting prospect for the Bears. Chark has the size and speed that NFL teams love and he is very quick, he seems to be at his top speed in just a couple of steps. Because of that speed, Chark can make modest gains into big plays, something every offense will welcome. He’s also willing to go over the middle which is a rare commodity at times. Pace probably loves the idea of having Chark in Matt Nagy’s offense coming over the middle with space to work and let his speed make something out of nothing.

Chark has all the tools, but the one thing he isn’t great at is route running. So while he fits the “Pace Profile” he may not fit what Matt Nagy is looking for, and that is excellent route runners. If Chark doesn’t improve in that aspect of his game, it could create issues for him at the NFL level. Chark is going to have to prove to a team that he is willing to put in the work and do what’s necessary to take his game to the next level.
