2. Harold Landry, Edge, Boston College
There were some draft experts that thought Harold Landry would be in place for the Bears at eight overall. While that would have been a horrible selection, if Landry continues to slide down to the Bears and is available at 39, that’s going to be a tough one to pass up.
Landry had a very mediocre 2017 but was battling a leg injury. He’s also shown the inability to make plays in the running game and needs to improve on his pass rushing repertoire. However, that being aside, Landry has a generational first step and uses his quickness to routinely beat his man around the corner. If Landry is there, he’s almost certainly going to be the guy Pace makes a Chicago Bear.
