With the Chicago Bears sixth round selection, they finally addressed edge rusher with Kyle Fitts from Utah

We have had some decent success pinning a few of these picks. We mocked them going Roquan Smith, interior lineman early. We had Bilal Nichols going, albeit a bit later than his draft slot. And now, Kylie Fitts, a player we identified as a player the Chicago Bears need to target in the middle rounds of this draft on the edge. They got him in round six. You know where this is headed.

Need?

Ummm, yes. Currently across from Leonard Floyd sit the names Aaron Lynch and Sam Acho. I like Acho as much as the next guy, as a depth player. Lynch has some starter upside, but does not have the past couple of seasons, nor does he have a clean bill of health on his side. There was a crying need at edge that felt neglected when the Bears went defensive line and linebacker in the middle rounds. Then came Fitts.

Value?

Kylie Fitts is likely a late second round pick on tape. He has serious injury concerns and missed all but two games in 2016, and fought through injuries in 2017. However, that would push him into the fourth or fifth round range. Falling into the sixth round, especially considering the positional value and upside he brings makes him a great value.

Players?

We profiled Fitts dude to his explosion, and strong enough hand usage. He can get on the field next season. On top of that, his athletic puts his ceiling through the roof.

He is an elite prospect, and a force player, which is a threshold that puts his NFL chances of success much higher than others. The injury concerns are there, that is no doubt. But, in the sixth round, the Bears just took a swing on a ten sack player. Yes, please.
