The Chicago Bears signed Undrafted Free Agent Elijah Norris from Shepherd
The Chicago Bears signed a cornerback from Dubuque, and an edge rusher from Shepherd. At least it is clear that the team has their feelers out there.

From the Draft analyst profile on Norris:
"Strengths: Explosive and disruptive pass rusher who plays athletic football. Plays with proper lean and outstanding pad level and consistently gets leverage on opponents out of a three-point stance or standing over tackle. Shows agility, fires off the snap with a quick first step and works his hands throughout the action. Attacks opponents, goes hard and plays with a nasty attitude. Slides off blocks, moves well laterally and remains disciplined with assignments.Weakness:Must improve his playing strength. Handled at the point. Has a limited body of work."
According to draftscout.com E.J. Norris started his career at North Carolina State in 2012. That would mean that Norris is likely around 24 years old when he enters the NFL.
That would explain why this draft analyst is so impressed with some of his technical refinement. The question around him is going to be why he is at Shepherd and how much of the jump in competition is going to affect him. Norris is not really a player you try to teach up and string along. He is a player that the Bears are going to look for a quick spark, and move on if it is not there.
If it is there, this is the type if Undrafted Free Agent who rides hype into making roster. If not, do not even expect Elijah Norris to hang around for the practice squad.
