Josh Bellamy may have music plans after his NFL career wraps up.
Not since the Super Bowl Shuffle has a Chicago Bears’ rap video gotten this much hype. Truthfully, this video hasn’t gotten that much hype, I’m just struggling to come up with a Bears’ rap video between 1985 and present day.
But have no fear, Beezo and Strap are here.
Many of you may never have heard of Beezo, but if you are a fan of the Bears’ you may have heard of his less popular name, Josh Bellamy. Strap also dons the navy and orange on Sundays and that is none other than Cre’Von LeBlanc.
Bellamy released his debut rap video on Wednesday titled, “On a Wave.” It features “Beezo” droppin’ rhymes with his pal “Strap” supporting his game. You can check out Bellamy and LeBlanc’s video below. Bellamy released the video in two parts on his Instagram page, both links are below.

One thing worth noting, Bellamy has earned $3 million during his NFL career, which is not too shabby at all. However, there is no chance that mansion that Bellamy is rapping in front of is his pad. You have to wonder if that’s someone else’s on the team or a friend of his, or perhaps just something they used for the video and it has no ties to the Bears.
Does Bellamy have a future in music? He wouldn’t be the first athlete to think he can have a second career in music once his athletic career is over, but Bellamy does seem to have decent rhythm and some production value behind him. Hopefully this is the start of something big for Josh and he doesn’t drop the ball on his music career.
