As Chicago Bears fans, we love to criticize. It’s in our blood. Years upon years of mediocre teams will do that to a fan base. When criticisms run high, there is usually the same group of players that end up getting beaten up by fans on social media and on sports talk shows.

But is that criticism fair? In some cases it is, but other times, these players are just scapegoats that contribute to the team but fans focus on a few errors rather than the things they are doing to help the team compete and hopefully win.
