Charles Leno is depicted as a revolving door at left tackle by several Bears’ fans. He is crushed on a regular basis for being a horrible offensive lineman that will get Mitch Trubisky killed. That couldn’t be further from the truth.

Leno has improved every season and on top of that, he comes at a reasonable price tag. Last season Leno was clearly in the top half of left tackles in the league and borderline top ten.

Leno is not elite and he will never be elite but he’s above average and some might dare go as far as calling him good. Yes, Leno will get beat from time to time but he’s facing elite pass rushers on a regular basis. No, he’s not Tyron Smith but who is? Leno is a solid contributor on the offensive line who gets the job done. Keep the hate at a minimum when looking this direction.
