Where does the Chicago Bears tight ends group rank amongst their rivals in the NFC North?

We are now in the dead period of the offseason where the Chicago Bears should not be making any more additions to their roster. With that said, this is a good time to compare and contrast their roster to other teams in the NFC North. So, how do the Chicago Bears tight ends compare to the rest of the NFC North?

4. Detroit Lions- Luke Wilson, Levine Toilolo, Michael Roberts

The Detroit Lions bring up the rear and no team is really close to them. They missed on Eric Ebron, let him go via free agency and now have a huge hole at tight end with little options for help.

Michael Roberts is probably the high upside name of the group. He has size and speed and was a fifth-round rookie last season. However, the high upside bet in the Lions tight end room had 46 yards receiving last season.

Luke Wilson has some athleticism and did play in a Superbowl with the Seahawks. However, 362 yards is a career high for Wilson and that was achieved in 2014. From there is Levine Toilolo, who spent five years in Atlanta trying to replace Tony Gonzalez. He never once topped 300 yards in a season.

It is easy to say that the Lions are the worst tight end group in the division and the true question that may arise from this is whether or not this is the worst tight end group in the NFL.
