2. Minnesota Vikings- Kyle Rudolph, David Morgan, Blake Bell, Tyler Conklin
Kyle Rudolph is most likely the best overall tight end in this division. He has a strong combination of catching and blocking which brings a lot of versatility and mismatches. He completes a Vikings pass-catching group that tops the division.
However, the depth behind him has some name value but is very questionable. Still, these three have as much or more upside than a player such as Michael Roberts. David Morgan is a pure blocking tight end. He is a grinder who knows his job and is strong at it.
Blake Bell is very interesting. Like Burton, he is a former quarterback. He is on his second team and entering his fourth season in the NFL. However, this is year two with Minnesota, and like Burton, there is still some upside in what he can become at this stage of his career.
Lastly is Tyler Conklin. Conklin had a magnificent 2016 season at Central Michigan. However, he fought injuries in 2017 and slid into the fifth round of the 2018 NFL Draft. However, this is a tall athlete who has basketball skills and upside that could turn him into a red zone star.
There is projection in the back end, but Rudolph holds this group up over the Bears.
