The man is a beast. Simple as that. What he has done these past two seasons with no passing game and having to run against 8 man boxes almost every play is incredible. He should have a career year coming up since the Bears are an actual threat to throw the ball on another down other than 3rd.
I was relieved to hear that the rumors about Howard getting traded were just that. He does need to learn how to become a more reliable receiving threat from the backfield so he can be fully utilized in Nagy’s system.
Cohen will be all over the field and be the primary receiving back but a little more consistency out of Howard will go a long way for this offense. Howard also seemed to be dinged up the entire year, so hopefully he along with Long can become 100% and ready to dominate some football games this year. I could easily argue Howard being 1 on this list.
