4. Tyreek Hill

The first thought that came to mind when the Chicago Bears hired Matt Nagy was that he may be looking to turn Cohen into a Tyreek Hill type of weapon. Low and behold, Matt Nagy is adding specific routes to the plate of Cohen. Perhaps to get him into space to turn him into a weapon similar to Hill?

The fact of the matter is that Tyreek Hill did not run many routes for the Chiefs either. He is blazing fast, agile in open space and can catch the deep ball. Matt Nagy and Andy Reid do a great job of picking and choosing their battles to draw up specific plays that get Tyreek Hill involved. Now, Nagy can do that with the Chicago Bears.

Nagy may not have thought that Tarik Cohen had the complete arsenal of routes that he wanted. However, there was no denying that when given the chance, Cohen was able to get deep.

He may not be Tyreek Hill fast, but he is agiler in the open field. He has the coach that schemed a lot of what Hill did to find success and can scheme to get the open field monster into open space in a similar way.
