1. Green Bay Packers: David Bakhtiari, Bryan Bulaga, Jason Spriggs

It would take a great group to knock off the Detroit Lions. However, the Green Bay Packers could end up holding down that title. David Bakhtiari was rated the top tackle in the NFL last season by PFF. He is still just 26 years old and has a lot of upside.

Bryan Bulaga only played 5 games last season but has a history of solid play on the right side. In comparison to the Detroit Lions, the lost season of Decker could be swapped out with the lost season of Decker. Both have upside to bounce back to their current states.

Bakhtiari did have a better 2017 than Wagner, so the Packers should get the edge. On top of that, while the Lions have options in their depth, Jason Spriggs is a solid staple of depth. While he was not great in his starting time he did show competence at times. That is more than can be said for Crosby and Mihalik at this point in their careers.

The Lions and Packers do stand above the pack. The Bears group is likely a bit below average, and the Vikings are clearly below average. In the end, with the top end upside of Bakhtiari, the Packers do get the edge in tackle groups.
