Where do the Chicago Bears centers rank amongst their rivals in the NFC North?

With the long lull until training camp, it is a good time to re-evaluate the Chicago Bears roster. How does it compare to their division rivals in the NFC North? This series does just that. Today, we look at the center position.

4. Vikings: Pat Elflein, Cornelius Edison

Pat Elflein was a rookie in 2018. He started in 14 games and showed promise. However, he suffered an ankle injury and will most of the offseason. He has promise but still will have a lot to prove, including health in year two. Cornelius Edison spent some time on the Bears roster. When a player cannot see the field much on the depleted Bears that were rebuilding, it tends to show what kind of depth he has at this point.

3. Packers: Corey Linsley, Dillon Day

Corey Linsley was coming off of an injury in 2017. He played himself back into shape, and ended on a high note, but had some ups and downs as his season went on. Still, he is just 26 years old, he will have a full offseason of work and should be ready for a strong season.

However, in terms of depth, the Packers do not have much of any to speak of. They do not have much depth on their line as a whole, and it definitely brings down the group.
