Where do the Chicago Bears rank amongst top edge rushers in the NFC North?

With the period between OTAs and training camp, we see little roster movement. This makes it the perfect time to evaluate and compare rosters. How does the Chicago Bears roster currently stack up compared to the rest of the NFC North? Today, we look at edge rushers.

4. Chicago Bears: Leonard Floyd, Kylie Fitts, Sam Acho, Aaron Lynch

Most Chicago Bears fans would struggle to argue with this ranking. We all know about it. This is the biggest flaw on the team. Leonard Floyd is a former top ten pick. We have seen potential and upside over the past two seasons. However, we also come into year three unsure of what exactly the team can get out of him. Floyd is coming off of a season-ending injury and his sacks seem to come in random bunches. Can he get healthy and can he play more consistent?

From there, it gets extremely dicey. Aaron Lynch has not been healthy for the past two seasons and has less than 3 sacks in that span. Sam Acho is a special teamer who can provide solid rotational snaps. Kylie is a sixth-round pick rookie. There is upside to Fitts, but he has some health questions as well. The Bears will take one on the chin here and hope that a strong interior pass rush helps.
