2. Detroit Lions: Anthony Zettel, Ziggy Ansah, Kerry Hyder, Da’Shawn Hand

Coming off of an injury-riddled season that saw three missed starts and only two sacks, Ziggy Ansah bounced back in a big way in 2017. Ansah finished with 12 sacks. Even with two sacks in 2016, he has 28.5 sacks over the past three seasons. He is just 29 and has had a better three year run than Matthews or Perry on Green Bay.

Anthony Zettel had a breakout of sorts as well with 6.5 sacks last season. These sacks were not flukes and showed to Zettel’s ability to win in one on one matchups. He may not have a defined ceiling but brings a strong floor to the table. Kerry Hyder missed all of 2017, but his 2016 was similar to 2017 of Zettle. If these two can rotate in and out with Ansah it is a feared group. On top of that, Da’Shawn Hand, who can play inside and out and looked like he was just scratching the surface at Alabama. Of course, he is a rookie. Still, for his rotational role on this roster, he completes a strong overall unit.
