Jay Cutler makes his debut on reality TV for his wife’s show “Very Cavallari”, and the top 3 dates every Bears fan needs to mark on their calendars.

                                                     Jay Cutler is a STAR

Lets not beat around the bush. We all watched the debut of Very Cavallari on E! If you haven’t then stop reading and do it now! I’ll be honest I am a big fan of reality TV from Keeping Up with the Kardashians, to Teen Mom, and everything in between. However, Jay Cutler is the best thing on reality TV right now. He is everything you pictured him to be, brash, aloof, sarcastic, and honestly Grinch like. It is must watch TV, I didn’t always love watching Cutler on the field, but Sunday nights on Very Cavallari he is golden.

Mark Your Calendars: 3 dates Bears fans need to know

July 19th-21st: Da Bears are back at Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, IL. Players report to the campus on the 19th of July. Fans get their opportunity to check out the 2018 squad at 8:15 am CST on Saturday July 21st.  If you have never made the pilgrimage 60 miles south of Chicago to rural Bourbonnais for training camp you’re missing out. Its a fans best opportunity to get pictures and autographs from their favorite players. Seeing young unsigned players competing to live out their NFL dreams, and Veterans struggling to learn the new playbook. This years camp should be fascinating.

Thursday August 2nd: Hall of Fame Game! the Chicago Bears take on the Ravens in the first NFL preseason game. Ravens LB Ray Lewis, and Bears LB Brian Urlacher go into the Hall of Fame as first ballot selections. They were the two best LB’s of the 2000’s and deserve to go into the hall side by side. Most of the starters wont see extended action in this first preseason game. Playing in this game is cool, but it means the Bears will play 5 preseason games, not a great thing for a team that struggles with injuries.

Sunday September 9th: Waiting all day for SNF. Bears travel to Green Bay for the start of their NFL season on SNF. The NFL’s longest, best, and most even rivalry returns and kicks off the SNF season. The fact that this game is less then 2 months away is very exciting. Real football is so close we can all taste it, but the Bears have a lot of work to do with a new coaching staff if they want to shock the world on Sept. 9th.

LAST CALL

Watch out for some really fun position battles all camp long. Battles along the O-line, and D-line, and in the WR corps. Can Kevin White prove he belongs in the NFL, and stay healthy?  Probably not. But I’m pumped to watch.
