Jonathan Bullard

Most people either stand on one side of the fence or the other when it comes to Jonathan Bullard. Some say that he will never get it. The biggest issue with Bullard is between the ears, and that is the toughest thing to coach out of a player.

The other side says that his upside is so legitimate that and it is worth the shot to see if he can be coached into a starter. Put me in this group. The fact of the matter is that he is likely going to get his chance this season.

He will be competing with Roy Robertson-Harris this summer for a majority of the defensive line snaps next to Akiem Hicks and Eddie Goldman. Bullard will have every chance to win that job.

Last season Bullard began to see the field as the writing was on the wall as to where this team was going. Bullard took advantage of this time and made the Chicago Bears feel comfortable about moving on from Mitch Unrein.

Bullard is going to be getting starter snaps. If he can make the most of them, he can turn it into a contract season that begins his run of being a commodity in Chicago for the near future.
