This is the bold call. But, you have to throw a hot one in there if I am going to try to get away with the no-brainer of Nick Kwiatkoski. The idea came about during our slump candidates post. A 30-year old with an injury history is not the best bet to come back to full health.

The team has two young options in Eric Kush and James Daniels. Early reports are that Daniels and Kush will compete for starting time. Is the twist that Daniels and Kush both eventually earn starting time?
This is not to say this is going to happen by the preseason. Like I said, it is a bold call overall. However, Daniels has legitimate upside and can get onto a field immediately. Long struggling to get out of the gate or suffering another injury is a possible outcome.
The team has admittingly been high on Kush. Are they so high that they want to see his potential next to Cody Whitehair and James Daniels?
