2. Charles Leno

In the last few years, the name of Charles Leno has started to come around on some Bears fans. In the beginning, the team did not like him. It made sense, he was a seventh-round pick rushed into a starting role. It wasn’t great at times. However, he truly has gotten better.

Last season, when the Chicago Bears signed him to an extension, there were mixed reviews. There are still some who wish the team went in another direction rather than stick with him. It is supported by the fact that he is not a top tier or well above average performer.

However, he is an average starter, being paid like a low-end starter for his position, considering rookie contracts. The value in which the team is getting out of Leno is undeniable, even if he is not providing elite tackle play.

The Bears added James Daniels to the mix this offseason. With Kyle Long and Cody Whitehair, this team should feel very comfortable about where they stand at four of the five offensive line spots for this season and moving forward.
