1. Adam Shaheen

Some are going to question this one as well. How is he underrated, how do you know he is going to be good? It was such a small sample. However, if you have dissected what Adam Shaheen has done on tape, you have to be pretty happy with what he has done.

After a breakdown of every run blocking opportunity that he had last season, you can come away with the impression that this is not going to be an issue for him. Kevin Gilbride, the tight ends coach, came away with the same impression. He watched Shaheen in college for another team. Then, he watched his year one tape and couldn’t believe it was the same player.

When breaking down his pass catching, the same idea that he was beyond his role came to mind. He was effective in the red zone and over the seams.

So, with all of the hype at tight end surrounding Trey Burton, remember Adam Shaheen. The former second-rounder has a role and a plan in this offense and is going to be used more than some would think.
