Defensive Line (6): Akiem Hicks, Eddie Goldman, Jonathan Bullard, Roy Robertson-Harris, Bilal Nichols, John Jenkins
This feels about as set in stone as the quarterbacks. There are some UDFAs brought in to compete, but none are likely to touch this group.

Linebacker (9): Roquan Smith, Danny Trevathan, Joel Iyiegbuniwe, Nick Kwiatkoski, Leonard Floyd, Kylie Fitts, Aaron Lynch, Sam Acho, Isaiah Irving
The four inside linebackers seem set in stone. With so much talent and youth, they may be able to spare a roster spot, by letting John Timu go. Jonathan Anderson does not make the roster either. While one of the two could slip in over Isaiah Irving, who has practice squad eligibility, my early money is on Irving, who is more of a pure pass rusher. Kasim Edebali may also battle Irving for that ninth spot.
Defensive Backs (10): Prince Amukamara, Kyle Fuller, Bryce Callahan, Cre’Von LeBlanc, Kevin Toliver, Sherick McManis, Eddie Jackson, Adrian Amos, Deon Bush, DeAndre Houston-Carson
The first four games at cornerback are essentially set for the time being. We like Kevin Toliver to survive a camp battle with Marcus Cooper. The real question will be whether or not Deiondre’ Hall can beat out Sherrick McManis for the last cornerback spot. He apparently is a cornerback now on the roster and brings special teams value. Still, that means beating out an ace in McManis.
