2. Jonathan Bullard

Jonathan Bullard is the definition of a make or break player. He is entering the third season. In his first two years, he played exclusively in a reserve role. He was unable to beat out Mitch Unrein in those years.

However, Unrein is gone and the job is going to Bullard’s for the taking. Can he take it?

Behind Bullard, Roy Robertson-Harris is lurking. Robertson-Harris is a bit of a project but has been progressing every season. He is not too far behind Bullard on the depth chart, and will push Bullard is he does not take a step forward.

Bullard has a strong motor, strong burst, and a great first step. There is a lot to like from Jonathan Bullard. However, his situational awareness is not strong, and he can take himself out of as many plays as he blows up.

Bullard is going to get a chance but the leash is not going to belong. They will not be afraid to put him back into a reserve role and get Robertson-Harris more snaps. However, if Bullard can excel, he is looking like a potential key in this defense given his upside.
