4. Mitchell Trubisky
Some would argue that Mitchell Trubisky is the most valuable player on the roster. In some forms, yes he is. However, it should be factored in that Trubisky is still entering year two. He is mostly an unknown as a player at this point. There is no denying that.
Every sign this offseason is pointing to a Mitchell Trubisky breakout next year. However, a lot of that has to do with the players around him as much if not even more than the play of Trubisky himself.
In regards to the starting quarterbacks in the NFL today, Trubisky still has a lot to prove. Not many would be ranking him above 16 NFL starters. Does that mean he is below average? Not necessarily, but it does mean he has a lot to show.
Still, when it comes to the success of the Chicago Bears, Mitchell Trubisky and his progression is easily the most important factor on the team. This gets him into the top four.
