Enough is enough. Akiem Hicks cannot be snubbed anymore. He has to hold down the honor as the top player on the Chicago Bears roster heading into the season.
The fact of the matter is that he sets the tone on defense. He is their top sack man as of right now. He is their top run stuffer as of now. The defense was a top ten unit and was much better than the offense last season. Akiem Hicks is the heart and soul of the best unit on the roster.
Mitchell Trubisky will be looking to claim it. Jordan Howard has a claim for it. Roquan Smith is going to shoot for it. However, Akiem Hicks currently sits as the heart and soul of this roster right now.
