1. Mitch Trubisky passes for over 4,000 yards

If Mitch Trubisky were to pass for over 4,000 yards this season, he’d be the first quarterback in franchise history to reach this mark. That’s right, strong-armed Jay Cutler never reached this number in his tenure with the Bears. Nor did Sexy Rexy, and the most accomplished QB in team history, Jim McMahon, never came close.

Mitch Trubisky comes into the 2018 season with a completely revamped roster. His receiving corp is comparable to what Cutler had in 2014 as Allen Robinson, Taylor Gabriel, the rookie Anthony Miller, and the untapped potential of Kevin White can create matchup nightmares against the opposition.

Trubisky will also be assisted by one of the most dynamic backfields this Bears’ organization has ever seen, and that is truly saying something considering the storied history the team has at the running back position. With Jordan Howard presumably rushing for another 1,000 yards and Tarik Cohen being the versatile piece that he is, the pressure will not solely rest on the shoulders of Trubisky.

Add into the mix an improved offensive line and a dangerous defense that can get the ball back into Trubisky’s hands, he is sure to amass the 1,807 yards he would have needed last season to reach 4,000 yards. Let’s not forget, Trubisky didn’t start until the fifth game of the regular season, and in a game against the Carolina Panthers, he threw the ball only seven times.

With Nagy’s dynamic offense, the weapons he has around him, and his own drive to be great, Trubisky will easily surpass 4,000 yards and will change the narrative of the Bears’ quarterback position.
