Edge Rusher

Sam Acho is currently the starter across from Leonard Floyd. That likely should not come as a surprise considering his competition. However, it is worth noting that despite the lack of chances in camp, Aaron Lynch is still holding down the number two spot on that side.

On the side opposite of Lynch is Isaiah Irving, who is getting rave reviews in camp. Irving can rush from either side, but considering Lynch is on Acho’s side on the depth chart, he is likely ahead of Irving in the pecking order for snaps on that side.

Still, the question then becomes whether or not Irving is ahead of Kylie Fitts as well. Fitts is a third-string pass rusher, but on the same side as Lynch and Acho. If Lynch is injured long term, would Irving slot in for the snaps ahead of Fitts? We will see how essential sides are in the preseason.

Last to note is that Andrew Trumbetti, who may have been an interior defender is officially on the edge, while Cavon Walker, who had edge experience, is listed with the defensive lineman.
