Cavon Walker

Walker is a player who nobody was watching for in the Hall of Fame game. If we are looking for number 78 now, it must mean he did something right in the Hall of Fame game. He only had 23 snaps, but he flashed in them and was wreaking havoc in the backfield.

Granted, this was late into the worst preseason game on the schedule. Still, Walker is an off of the ball linebacker turned interior defensive lineman. He is raw. There should have been a learning curve for him, even in these circumstances.

Did the team take notice, and will he see the field more in his second game? Or was that more of a fluke and chalk up to the level of competition?

Walker is an exciting player who can take snaps up and down the defensive line. He would be an excellent practice squad stash or a player to sneak onto the back end of the roster. It will be interesting to see how the team distributes his snaps from game to game, and if he can continue to ride the wave.
