The Benny Cunningham injury, along with Ryan Nall and Taquan Mizzell struggling over the early portions of the preseason have Knile Davis fighting for a potential roster spot. The question with Davis will be how much of the playbook does he know after just being signed. Also, how many different units can he get onto, as he should have special teams value?

The team has given Taquan Mizzell every chance to win a roster spot over the first two weeks of the preseason. He has done nothing to prove that he belongs and it is starting to feel like the Chicago Bears are souring on him.

Ryan Nall is making up ground, but the question is how much? Could he overthrow Mizzell for snaps in the first half?

From there, we bring in Davis. It is going to be interesting to see where Davis stands compared to the two when he is going to be thrown in so cold. If he is ahead of the two on offense, he has a great chance to make this team.

If not, he can still prove himself. Special teams are likely his best path, and if he can show return value, it would go along way. Nonetheless, seeing how long he is on the field will be very interesting.
