Doran Grant

This could include Kevin Toliver as well. Toliver is a player we have highlighted in each of the past two weeks, and injuries have had us disappointed. While Toliver has failed to gain traction, Doran Grant has been a player who has.

With the struggles of Marcus Cooper, the Chicago Bears split reps between Cooper and Grant across from Kyle Fuller in their joint practice sessions. This is an interesting development considering there is a roster spot on the line.

Grant has been competing with the likes of Michael Joseph and John Franklin. He has shined over those two, and the Chicago Bears gave him a chance to play against some tougher competition. How Grant fares in Week Two will likely decide whether he has any chance at making the roster or not.

It will also be interesting to see how Toliver slots in after putting in a full week of practice. You would assume that while he is officially behind Grant, he likely would slot in over Franklin or Joseph across from Cooper on the second team.
