7. Tyler Bray

It is no surprise that Tyler Bray is in the position that he is in. After Chase Daniel handled business in the third week of the preseason, it was clear that this team was going to be more than comfortable moving forward with just two names on the roster.

This allows them to field more depth at other positions of need. The fact of the matter was that Bray was not putting up the numbers that would have got him claimed on waivers. Case in point is Bray clearing waivers.

Bray had familiarity with coaches in Kansas City and Philadelphia, but it was clear that he had a good relationship here. Bray is going to get the same number of snaps on the practice squad as he would if they carried him as the third quarterback. This is a nice little win for the Chicago Bears.

However, when it comes to being called up, the Chicago Bears hopes and plans are for that to not happen.
