We preview the Week 1 Bears vs Packers matchup with Lombardi Ave.
Football is BACK! There is no better way to kick off the season and cap off the first Sunday of NFL football than with Bears vs Packers and Lambeau on Sunday Night Football. Expectations are high for both teams after very interesting offseasons capped off by some monstrous spending in the last week.

For the Packers, they’re looking to get back to the postseason after having a streak of eight playoff appearances snapped last season. Hoping that Aaron Rodgers can stay healthy, the Packers inked him to a massive contract extension that will have him haunting the Bears for years to come.
For the Bears, expectations are high just to regain relevance. At least those were my expectations until they traded for Khalil Mack. After trading a couple of first round picks as part of a package to Oakland, the Bears have announced that they’re ready to be more than relevant; they’re ready to make some noise in the NFC. Is it a bit premature for the Bears to make the power move in a stacked NFC? Maybe. But after their own streak of missed playoff appearances, there’s no better time than the present.
