1. The talk among Bears fans has been that the Bears have bested the Packers at every turn this offseason – the Packers wanted Vic Fangio, but he stayed with the Bears; they wanted Allen Robinson, but he signed with the Bears; they tried to swipe Kyle Fuller, but the Bears matched the offer. Of course, last week, the Bears pulled off the Khalil Mack trade when the Packers were supposed to be a front-runner. What’s a Packers fan’s point of view on these offseason moves?
I think many Packers fans were just pleased to see new general manager Brian Gutekunst being bold and making moves Ted Thompson never would.

Green Bay Packers
It was disappointing to miss out on Allen Robinson. He could have been an excellent addition to the Packers’ offense alongside Davante Adams. Robinson can dominate in Chicago.
Of course, Khalil Mack is a huge addition for the Bears. Forget about the draft picks and big contract, his arrival could turn a good defense into a great one. The Packers, who are in win-now mode, might regret not being a little bolder and bringing Mack to Green Bay. The Packers’ pass rush is still an issue, and Mack could have been the missing piece they needed.
The other two moves the Packers missed out on aren’t as concerning. Kyle Fuller is a talented player, but after failing to sign him, they selected Jaire Alexander and Josh Jackson in the draft. I love their potential. Jackson, in particular, had an excellent preseason.
And while Vic Fangio would have been a good hire, Packers fans should be confident Mike Pettine can help the defense improve this season.
