4. What can the new look Bears offense expect from the Packers defense?   How do the Packers attack Mitch Trubisky and Co.?

The Packers’ biggest strength on this side of the ball is the defensive line. Mike Daniels and Kenny Clark were excellent last year, and they are now joined by free agent signing Muhammad Wilkerson, who has experience playing in Mike Pettine’s defense. If the Packers can generate some interior pressure and make life difficult for Mitch Trubisky, as well as shut down the Bears’ run game, it’ll take a lot of pressure off the new-look secondary.

The Bears have enough receiving weapons to create some problems for the Packers. Outside of Tramon Williams and Davon House, Green Bay has a number of young players in the secondary, including Alexander and Jackson and second-year cornerback Kevin King. This will be a real test for them.

5. Mike McCarthy was given a one year contract extension which has him leading the Packers through 2018.  Is he on the hot seat after the Packers missed the playoffs in 2017?  What does he need to do to ensure keeping his job?

Right now, McCarthy isn’t on the hot seat. But that could quickly change. The Packers could have simply put last year’s struggles down to Aaron Rodgers’ injury, but instead, they made a number of changes to the front office and coaching staff. If the team struggles this year with Rodgers back, McCarthy will be under real pressure.
