The Chicago Bears lost on Sunday night in brutal fashion, but after stewing for a couple of days, here’s a few positives to build on for the season.

It started with shock. “This couldn’t have happened,” you said. After that, the pain of reality set in. You were angry, as well you should have been. You were looking for someone to blame. But a few days later, hopefully you’ve reached the final stage of grief: acceptance.

The Chicago Bears lost to the Green Bay Packers thanks to just a horrific second half. Of all teams, it had to happen to the Packers. Aaron Rodgers of all people, it had to be him. But it is what it is. It’s important now to stop dwelling on the negatives (which there were plenty) and start looking at the positives (which there were plenty).

It may seem like there aren’t many positives, but there are. Let’s take a look at five positives from the game that will be foundations that the team can build upon moving forward.
