Five Positives from Chicago Bears Crushing Loss to Green Bay Packers

3. Defensive Line

The Chicago Bears defensive line had a phenomenal first half. While the second half, the defensive line didn’t have the same impact in the trenches, you can’t ignore what you saw in the first 30 minutes.

Akiem Hicks is still playing at the same dominant level he was last season. Eddie Goldman showed that he’s worth every penny and was fully disrupting the offensive line when he was in there. What was also a positive was the play of Roy Robertson-Harris. He looked like a legit 5-tech defensive end. With what should be an excellent group of linebackers behind them, the Bears defensive line looks stout.

There isn’t a ton of depth along the front of the defense, so if these three guys stay healthy, the Bears’ defense is going to wreak havoc on offenses all season long.
