3. How does the Seahawks running attack stack up?  Fantasy owners need to know!

If – and this is clearly a big if – Seattle chooses to use it’s running backs then they have talent at the position. Second-year pro Chris Carson has great size and speed and athleticism. He looked like he was going to have a good year in 2017 but was injured in week four. Against the Broncos, he had 51 yards rushing but on only seven carries. He is a good running back. Rookie Rashaad Penny was taken in the first round and is still finding his way a bit. He has great potential, but hasn’t shown he can be a good back yet.

4. Give me an under the radar player on each side of the ball who might have an impact on Monday night’s outcome.

Offensively, the Seahawks had a big impact from rookie tight end Will Dissly in week one. Dissly was drafted in 2018 to be a great blocker. But against the Broncos, Dissly caught three passes for 105 yards and looked really good running with the ball. He was the highest graded tight end in week one, according to Pro Football Focus. Can he do it again? Who knows? But I bet Seattle gets him the ball to see if he can.

Defensively, safety Bradley McDougald needs to be great every week. He’s been in the league for a few years now and is a good player. But he gets outshined by players like Earl Thomas. McDougald had two picks against Denver, though. And McDougald was very good last year after Kam Chancellor went out with injury. If Seattle wins, you can almost guarantee that it was because McDougald did something well.

5. What’s your prediction for Monday night’s game?  Please include a brief synopsis and a final score.

Winning on the road in the NFL is tough. Seattle usually isn’t a bad road team. But this isn’t the usual Seahawks. Seattle is a team in transition and getting young players to play well away from home isn’t easy. I think Chicago uses a fairly conservative but effective short passing game to score enough points to win. I don’t think Chicago gets to Russell Wilson six times like the Broncos did, but the Bears defense still limits what Seattle’s offense can do. Chicago wins 21-13.
