The latest Bears Banter Positive is a big middle finger to Ryan Pace haters, and some great content from DeVante Tidwell.

The Chicago Bears rebounded in week two after a devastating loss in week one to the Green Bay Packers. The Seattle Seahawks came to town, and Russell Wilson was no match for the Chicago Bears defense and Mitch Trubisky and the offense got enough done to secure the win.

The latest Bears Banter Podcast has dropped and after two weeks, it’s clear the Bears’ defense is going to be a monster this year.

Host Bill Zimmerman gives his thoughts on how the defense was built (and who built it), and Bears’ Blogger DeVante Tidwell joins to break down the first couple games of the season and give his analysis of the defense and what he’s seen from Mitch Trubisky thus far.

That is some fantastic content right there from DeVante Tidwell. He has great insight on this team, what he’s seen so far and what he expects to see moving forward.

You have heard Zimmerman say it, you have heard Tidwell say it, and you’ve heard it all over the league: give Mitch Trubisky time. The amount of overreaction this early in the season and this early in Trubisky’s development is almost laughable.

It’s possible that Trubisky doesn’t turn into the QB that Ryan Pace and Matt Nagy think he will become, but they certainly didn’t expect him to be Drew Brees just two games into this season. It simply is too early in his career to pass any kind of judgement. Fans need to slow down, but they want results now, and nothing seemingly will change that.
