Mitch Trubisky’s performance on Celebrity Family Feud did not go well.

If guessing answers to meaningless survey questions was an indication of quarterback success at the NFL level, the Chicago Bears have a bust at QB in Mitch Trubisky.

ABC’s Celebrity Family Feud aired an episode earlier this week of NFL veterans against NFL rookies. Gerald McCoy and Stefon Diggs led the veteran squad and Myles Garrett and Trubisky led the rookie squad.

The results were not pretty for the rookies. Trubisky was the ‘captain’ of the team and his squad was waxed by the veterans 301-0.

The results were not good out of the gate. Trubisky squared off against McCoy on the opening round and the video below shows how it played out.

If you aren’t in a position to click on the video, Steve Harvey poses the question, “Name a body part that you would not want the doctor to accidentally sew shut during surgery.”

McCoy jumps in first and goes with your backside. McCoy’s answer was good enough for second place so Trubisky had a chance to steal the round. The entire world knows the top answer is the mouth. It couldn’t be more obvious, but Mitch jumps in with “eyelids.”

Mitch’s answer was good enough for third, but that wasn’t good enough. The NFL veterans took control of that round and the entire match.

Trubisky’s answers didn’t improve as they game went on. In fact, Mitch didn’t have any other answers that actually appeared on the board. His worst answer was probably in response to, “Name a way to sweep your girl off her feet every time.” Mitch said you should take her to the movies.

I’m not necessarily a ladies’ man, but I’m just going to guess that if you want to really make your girl feel special, that taking her to see Mission Impossible isn’t going to knock her off her feet.

We love Trubisky and we all hope for big things from him as a quarterback, but his showing on Family Feud wasn’t the best.

Finally, one important note that did come out of this appearance. The debate ended if it’s “Mitch Trubisky” or “Mitchell Trubisky.” His name tag said Mitch. That means he wants to be called Mitch. Enough with Mitchell.
