The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are looking for a reason to move back to Jameis Winston. The Chicago Bears can give them that reason

Is it just me or does this feel like a perfect spot for the Chicago Bears defense? Yes, Ryan Fitzpatrick had another nice fantasy day against the Pittsburgh Steelers in a valiant Monday Night Football comeback. His second-half performance likely sealed the idea that he would head into his meeting with the Chicago Bears locked in as the starter for at least another week.

However, it was his performance in the first half that has the idea of Jameis Winston creeping back into peoples minds. Fitzpatrick threw three interceptions including a pick-six in setting up the Steelers with a 30-10 halftime lead. He was the reason he got to bring his team back from the dead.

It was starting to feel as though midnight was about to strike on the Fitzmagic storybook start to his season. However, the Steelers defense did not close the book, and Fitzpatrick was able to extend curfew a few more hours.

However, the Chicago Bears should be the team to turn Ryan Fitzpatrick all the way back into the pumpkin.

Let’s face it; the Pittsburgh Steelers are not exactly the Steel Curtain of old. However, the Chicago Bears are reminiscent of the Monsters of the Midway. Khalil Mack and Leonard Floyd shine over Bud Dupree and T.J. Watt. Roquan Smith and Danny Trevathan stand out over Jon Bostic and Vince Williams.

A Steelers defense without much name recognition and talent could not put Fitzpatrick to sleep but did throw him off of his game. They mixed blitzes and relentlessly made him move in the pocket. This is what forced him to take sacks, and to throw up prayers, that were intercepted and batted down.

Of course, some turned into receptions as well. But, the fact is that Fitzpatrick was teetering on edge on Monday night. The Chicago Bears are coming home with the chance to make a statement and give Fitzpatrick that push to commit to Jameis Winston.

Think about it, the team that forced the Cardinals into Josh Rosen and the Bucs into Jameis Winston in back to back weeks. I can see the storylines now. That is why I am getting out of ahead of the pack and calling my shot. The Chicago Bears defense forces the Bucs hand and exposes Ryan Fitzpatrick this week.
