This game was easily the best game of Mitchell Trubisky’s young career. Last season, Trubisky threw a total of seven touchdowns. In Week 4, the second-year pro threw five first-half touchdowns, and finished the contest completing 19 of 26 passes for 354 yards, six touchdowns, zero interceptions, and a QB rating of 154.6. In addition, the North Carolina product rushed for 53 yards on three carries. Trubisky finally gave Bears fans a full glimpse of what is being expected from him in the near future. Hopefully, this is the first of many great games for Chicago’s franchise quarterback.
