The Chicago Bears might have two key players back vs Miami.

The Chicago Bears have been relatively healthy all season. To kick off the year, Adam Shaheen was the only key player that was injured (unless you also want to go with DeAndre Houston-Carson as well). As the season progressed, the injury report has remained fairly minimal but a couple of key names have been on it.

Prior to the bye, both Prince Amukamara and Anthony Miller were injured. Both missed the game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Bears have a key game coming up this week against the Miami Dolphins and they need everyone healthy and on the field to make sure they secure a victory on the road.

The Bears were hopeful that after some rest, both players would be better to return against Miami and there is a good chance that both of them could be on the field.

The Marcus Cooper injury is irrelevant at this point. You have to wonder if Kevin Toliver has surpassed him in the depth chart and Cooper is nothing more than a body at this point. Even when Cooper is healthy, he’s going to be on the short-list to be inactive on game day.

First of all, Anthony Miller is back at practice in full. He will 100% play on Sunday. The more weapons Mitch Trubisky has to utilize at his disposal, the better off he will be. It’s great that the rookie is going to be back on the field.

There’s no guarantees that Amukamara will be ready to go on Sunday, but being he’s back at practice in some capacity, the Bears will be making an effort to get him ready for the game. If Amukamara is back, that will be a nice addition for the defense.

Finally, it’s not ideal to see Eric Kush on the list, but he rotated series last game with James Daniels and that seems to be the plan again for this week if he can go against Miami. Basically, it seems that Daniels is steps away from taking the starting job and Kush will be back at the interior swing offensive lineman where he should be.

All in all, a very positive injury report for the Bears and one that all fans should be pleased to see.
